We're waving goodbye to the cold Winter months and saying hello to the (Hopefully warmer) Spring months! We're washing away February with a small photo dump with snippets of what PCSO Nugent has been up to over the month; from patrols around the estate, Community Catch Up's with residents and conducting free bike marking at the Youth Group at St Francis Church.
Even with a new month, our SNT priorities stay the same - 1. Tackling crime and anti-social behaviour linked to drug dealing. 2. Stopping the dangerous and illegal use of unregistered electric and petrol-powered bikes. 3. Reducing crime and youth-related anti-social behaviour in hotspot areas.
These unfortunately, are community problems that cannot be tackled and fixed overnight. The team are continuing to work hard, and work based off of local intelligence to tackle these problems for our community. And these pictures *of course* do not show the extent of what we as a team get up to on a daily basis (they're more just perks of working in a community like this). We will continue to work closely with Derby City Council to tackle smaller issues such as inconsiderate or illegal parking - mainly around Humbleton Drive, and the issue of cars parking across drop curbs and the tactical paving.
Any issues that we can help with throughout the month of March, please use the following link to report via our website to be picked up by a member of the team. https://orlo.uk/LEJm9
