Kensal Green SNT officers carried out targeted high-visibility patrols at local schools

Yesterday, Harlesden and Kensal Green SNT officers carried out targeted high-visibility patrols at local schools, including Newman Catholic College (NW10), Harris Lowe Academy (NW10), Furness Primary School on Furness Road (NW10), and other schools across NW10, to help ensure the safety of our students.

During the visits, officers had fantastic opportunities to engage with nursery pupils, providing a short demonstration of a police vehicle and giving the children the chance to sit inside and experience it first-hand. The students showed great enthusiasm and excitement, and truly enjoyed the experience.

We also conducted a reassurance patrol and faith visit at Great Central Mosque Willesden (NW2) to support the safety and security of the community during Jumma prayers.

It was a memorable day for our officers — seeing the children’s smiles, engaging with worshippers, and receiving appreciation from teachers, parents, and community members.
