Hello Resident

You may recall a message I sent out earlier this week regarding an increase in vehicles being broken into within the Grangetown/Butetown areas.

I am pleased to report that Cardiff Bay Neighbourhood Policing Team have today arrested and charged a male for several incidents in the area. 

Please remember that if you witness anyone acting suspiciously around a vehicle and believe that they are attempting to break into it, dial 999 straight away and give a description of the subject to our control room. 

Drivers please also make sure that you remove anything of value from your vehicle when it is not in use and make sure that you lock the vehicle securely. 

Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.
