SAFER NEIGHBOURHOOD’S COMMUNITY PANEL FOR TOLWORTH WARD
Tuesday 24th February 2026, St Georges Church, Tolworth.
People in attendance
PCSO Major chaired the meeting. MAJOR started off speaking about crime stats from the last 12 weeks. There were 6 burglaries that took place. 8 reports of drugs, (mainly class B for Possession of a controlled drug, Cannabis) 29 reports of vehicle crimes, which include, Theft from motor vehicle, theft of motor vehicle, and vehicle interference. MAJOR explained that this was a significant increase since the last ward panel meeting and said that we have been struggling with identifying a suspect due to lack of viable CCTV.
The promises from last ward panel were discussed and they were, Major explained that patrols of the Broadway & Broad oaks will remain, due to the location and amount of people that use the area. Patrols will be mainly for ASB and drug activity. E bikes were then discussed, Major explained that South Borough School were spoken to and advised to encourage students not ride E bikes, especially to and from School. We have seen a small decrease in the number of students riding them. Major then explained that Officers will be carrying out an OPERATION soon that will directly tackle E Bikes on the Tolworth Broadway. Seizures will take place, and the OPERATION will then be shared on METENGAGE, showing residents what Officers have done to tackle the issue.
PCSO Major then spoke about KENT WAY and BIDMEAD COURT. He explained that there has been a decrease in drug activity due to Police presence. However, there has been a few reports coming in for ASB from the School children, using the area as a cut through.
RBK Officer wanted to share to all residents: To report obstructed driveways, residents can call the parking enforcement team on 07974296852. (Monday - Saturday - 7am to 10pm, Sundays and Bank Holidays 10:30am - 10pm). To report vehicles parked on footways and yellow lines etc, it can be reported on the council website here
