Drug supply

On 26th February 2026, the suspect was observed engaging in what appeared to be hand-to hand exchange with another unidentified male. The interaction was consistent with suspected drug related activity, as a small item was exchanged.

Upon noticing police presence, the suspect made off from the scene on foot. Officers pursued and detained the suspect. A search was conducted under section 23 of The Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, officers found 14 individual wraps containing a substance believed to be class A controlled drugs. The wraps were individually packaged in a manner consistent with the supply of drugs.

In addition, a knife was found in the suspect's pocket. The suspect was unable to provide a reasonable explanation for possession of the bladed article.

Outcome:

Suspect arrested for Possession of a controlled Drugs with intent to supply (class A ) and possession of a Bladed Article.
