S.35 Dispersal Order

Dear Residents, 

This message is to let you know about the authorisation of a S.35 Dispersal order from 1300hrs on 27 February 2026 – 0000hrs on 28 February 2026.

This is in response to the concerns raised by schools and parents about the online images that are AI generated. 

At this time, several schools have shared their concern and we have taken this stance pre-emptively.

The use of section 35 dispersal powers have been authorised by myself for the wards of 

The S.35 Dispersal has been authorised from 1300hrs on 27 February 2026 – 0000hrs on 28 February 2026.

Local Neighbourhood policing teams have been deployed to the locality and will use the dispersal to deter and encourage young people to go home safely if necessary. 

North Area officers continue to engage with the community in the course of their duty and would encourage any person with information which would assist to contact North Area police on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
