Burglary Safety Reminder for Our Community

There’s been an increase in opportunistic thefts in many areas recently, so this is a good moment for all of us to review some simple steps that make a real difference:

Keep doors and windows locked, even when you’re at home.

Leave a light on when you’re out in the evening to make your home look occupied.

Store keys out of sight and away from letterboxes.

Don’t leave valuables visible from outside.

Report anything unusual, such as people looking into driveways or trying door handles.

Staying alert and looking out for one another helps keep our neighbourhood safe.
