Friends of Queens Park, who run our first Park Watch scheme in Bolton have invited Neighbourhood Watch to the parks 160th anniversary celebration event that takes place in the park on Saturday 23rd May 2026 between 1pm and 3pm.
There will be a brass band attending along with some dance groups and Historia Normannis Bolton are going to do a medieval re- enactment, so hope this will be a good afternoon, and with it being the start of the Bank Holiday weekend, could be well attended.
We have been asked to have a stall near to the Pavilion Cafe along with other local community groups.
Would you be interested in helping out to run the stall and talk to the public about Neighbourhood Watch? Our stalls normally consist of information leaflets and crime prevention items that people can take away with them, although any other ideas to place on them to draw people to us would be welcome. As the local association, we will provide everything needed for the stall, it's just we need bodies to help support us, even if it's just for half an hour.
