Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team |

Good Evening,
Aldridge Neighbourhood Team have been busy as usual this set of shifts!
We have joined a multi-agency meeting to tackle antisocial behaviour at the bus stop in Robson Close, Walsall Wood. We have created a plan to deal with this concern, that is adversely affecting the local residents and other members of the public waiting at the bus stop.
We are working in conjunction with National Express & Safer Travel to deal with a growing trend of criminal damage by youths on local buses, where bus CCTV helps us to identify offenders & deal with them accordingly. We are currently investigating multiple reports across our patch, including Pheasey, Aldridge & Walsall Wood.
We have conducted successful joint school parking patrols across Streetly primary schools with council enforcement officers. The schools, local residents & local councillors have highlighted the issues, we listened and acted. Education around what is legal, safe and considerate parking has been disseminated to drivers who required it, as well as fines issued where appropriate. We have further joint patrols planned in the near future.
Business Watch patrols continue across Aldridge, Walsall Wood, Streetly & Pheasey to show a reassuring presence and deter shoplifters.
Antisocial behaviour patrols carry on around Oak Park Active Living, Walsall Wood where there has been criminal damage to windows at the centre.
We also enjoyed a Q & A at the Transition Hub based at Manor Farm Community Association in Rushall, we enjoyed engaging with young adults aged 18-30 years with additional learning needs who had some interesting questions for us around our role and our thoughts on various issues.
