Update on the Joel Street Incident

Dear Residents,

Following the incident on Joel Street on 24.02.2026, Tuesday evening, we can confirm that Clever Zaki has now been charged and remanded with Grievous Bodily Harm with Intent, Handling Stolen Goods, Possession of an Offensive Weapon and Possession with Intent to Supply Class A Drugs.

We understand the impact this incident has had on the local community. As a result, we are carrying out extra patrols throughout Northwood Hills all week, with a particular focus on Joel Street and the tube station. 

We are also aware of the current TikTok trend encouraging school‑aged fights, and we are working proactively to address this. Patrols around school start and finish times have been increased, and we continue to gather and act on intelligence.
