Suspicious circumstances, South Molton, Devon

 Police would like you to be aware of the following suspicious circumstances in your local area of South Molton. It has been reported that suspicious males were seen trying car door handles overnight in, Deerhill Road, Oak Meadow, Parklands, Livarot Walk.

 Despite an area search officers were unable to locate the individuals concerned therefore I request that anyone with CCTV/Doorbell camera footage to respond to me directly so that we can assess the footage and continue our enquiries. 

The incident took place overnight of the 26th February 2026, timings vary but we are looking from 0000 till 0200. 

Anyone with information is asked to contact police via the Devon & Cornwall Police website or by calling 101 quoting DCP-20260226-0013. 

In the interim, please be vigilant and ensure that you keep your vehicles locked and secure and report any suspicious activity to ourselves. My team will continue to patrol the area and following up on any enquiries that we receive.
