We’ve been carrying out patrols in your area today. Thank you to the members of the community we spoke to. 

Tonights operation was run in both CLIFTON UPON DUNSMORE and RYTON UPON DUNSMORE. During this operation car door handles were tried by officers and 8 cars were left unlocked. The owner of the cars when then spoken to and advice about crime prevention was given.

Vehicle crime is often an opportunistic crime with those responsible chancing cars left unlocked and either taking the car or items from the car. When returning home please lock the car to prevent this happening.
