Poeple trying doors

Please be aware we have a report on people trying door handles checking to see if the door is unlocked. 

The targets of these people maybe those who identify as vulnerable and have either/ all, key safes on display outside the front of the property, safety grab handles, railing leading to the property, wheelchair ramps, mobility scooters or walking aids visible from outside the property, care agency stickers. 

We advise locking the front door after getting home and if someone, who you do not know, tries to enter your property please call the police immediately through 999.
