Hello Beckton. We aren’t around tomorrow so you get the weekly crime update a whole day early. Let’s jump right in.
Assault 21/02/2026 – There was an allegation of assault as a male was ejected from a local chip shop.
Criminal Damage 21/02/2026 – A car had its wing mirror smashed by 2 unknown persons in Firefly Gardens. The offence was captured on a Ring doorbell.
Robbery (Attempted) 24/02/2026 - A 15 year old boy was approached by a group near ASDA. The group demanded his phone and he was punched but he fought back, yelled and called out for help. The group all made off without any of his belongings.
Theft From Person 23/02/2026 – Cycle enable phone snatch near Sainsbury’s. 24/02/2026 – Cycle enable phone snatch in Gallions Reach.
Theft From Vehicle 20/02/2026 - Catalytic Converter stolen in Gallions Reach Carpark 21/02/2026 – Numberplates stolen in Warwall E6 23/02/2026 – Tools stolen from a van Premier Inn Carpark 24/02/2026 – Numberplates stolen from a car in Evelyn Denington Road
Theft of Vehicle 24/02/2026 – Officers were on the A13 and spotted a Silver Toyota that had the wrong numberplates on. They stopped the vehicle on Prince Regent Lane. The driver couldn’t account to how he came into possession of the vehicle. He also had cannabis on him. He was arrested. 23/02/2026 – A White Nissan was stolen from Windsor Terrace E6.
I’m happy to say that there have been no residential burglaries since our efforts last week, long may that last.
