Car seized and driver reported - Campfield Road

A delivery driver had his vehicle seized on Sunday afternoon (22 Feb) in St Albans after allegedly performing a handbrake turn on bald tyres — right in front of an unmarked police car.

Plain‑clothed Neighbourhood officers spotted the Peugeot 207 speeding along Campfield Road at around 2.30pm.

A man in his 20s was reported for careless driving and having two bald tyres. Work is now underway to revoke his driving licence, and he is expected to be summonsed to court.
