We would like to draw your attention to an incident which occurred yesterday afternoon in the Belper area. We had two males described as white European in looks both in their early twenties. These two males were seen visiting various properties. On being spoken to by the householders they claimed that they were canvasing for McQueen's Dairy looking for new business. For those who are unaware McQueen's are a national milk supplier who specialise in supplying milk to your door each morning. They are very much like the old Co-op milk round for those of us who are old enough to remember. The suspicious element of this is the fact that McQueen's did not have anyone in the area canvasing yesterday. The advice as always is do not buy from the door and if you don't feel confident make sure your doors are locked when you are in and simply don't answer it unless it is someone you are expecting.
