Report from 24/02/2026 police operation on Lightwood Road

Hi All, 

On 24/02/2026, Staffordshire police officers attended Lightwood Road and conducted a police operation checking vehicles to ensure drivers and passengers were wearing seatbelts as well as checking the conditions of the vehicle. Due to  recent issues in the area, where driver, passengers and children are not wearing seat belts and cars driving dangerous along Lightwood Road. 

Staffordshire police issued 10 penalty notices which would include fines , points for for children and drivers not correctly restrained/ no seatbelt. Further to this 2 driver was given adversary warning for there lights fixed.
