Weekly Overview

Its been a busy week in your area.

This past week (week commencing Monday 16th February 2026) your local safer neighbourhood team, as well as the local response and our road policing teams, have been busy dealing with just over 40 incidents. These 44 incidents included violence and antisocial behaviour incidents and a large portion being road related incidents. 

This incidents have been dealt with swiftly to enable you to continue your day to day business with limited or no effect. There were only two violence and sexual offences incident and the anti social incidents just so happened to be four. We thank you for your patience when we have dealt with these.

We are also aware of the state of the roads due to the snow/ice and few weeks ago and the daily downpours this year has brought us. We, and our response colleagues can deals with these when they become dangerous but the first port of call needs to be highways and the Council.
