Parking Scams

Dear Residents,

There has been recent reports persons hanging around parking meters on busy residential streets in the wider Fulham area often not covered by CCTV cameras. Beware of these persons that appear very helpful especially when purchasing parking. These persons are Not in any uniform but appear to be knowledgeable about parking meters being ‘Out Of Order’, Just beware of these individuals as it's a SCAM, If you are directed by them to visit another parking meter where they have fitted a bank card cloning device , Don't do it as it's a SCAM. No matter how convincing these persons may appear as they want to SCAM you.

If you are approached by any persons when you are parking your car or you feel they are acting suspicious phone 999 immediately and get this reported, remember the street name you are on as the Police operator will ask for this.

If you are the victim of this kind of SCAM please phone your bank immediately so that your cards can be cancelled and the incident flagged to the banks security fraud team, alternatively if you have the banking app on your mobile phone you can cancel your card online and request a replacement with different card number.
