🚓 Off‑Road Bike Seized in Lever Edge Lane Area

On Saturday 21st February, PC Morris was on patrol in the Lever Edge Lane area of Bolton when he spotted a mini‑moto–type bike being ridden by two individuals.

After seeing the bike turn into a back alley, PC Morris followed to monitor where it was heading. As soon as the riders noticed police presence, they immediately abandoned the bike and ran from the location.

The bike was seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act, as it is classed as a mechanically propelled vehicle and therefore requires valid insurance to be used on the road. 🛑🏍️
