Suspected Drink Driver in Henley

Within the last hour we took a report from Henley-In-Arden that a patron of a local pub had got into their car under the influence and drove off on the wrong side of the road. 

Police responded to this report, located the car heading towards Claverdon, stopped it and have already arrested the driver for refusing to provide a road side specimen of breath for analysis. Failing to provide a specimen to police when requested to do so is an offence and carries equal punishment as being a drink driver. 

That individual is currently on route to custody. Please help to keep our local roads safe by reporting any drink drivers on 999.
