Coleshill SNT out on patrol

Over the past two early mornings, PCSO Yaqub from Coleshill Safer Neighbourhood Team has carried out further high visibility reassurance patrols following recent reports of vehicle crime and suspicious incidents in the area.

These patrols aim to provide a visible policing presence, gather information, and support ongoing investigative work. Patrols were conducted at Coleshill, Shustoke, Maxstoke, Over Whitacre, Ansley Village, Ansley Common, Ansley Village, Old Arley, New Arley, Birchley Heath, Fillongley, Corley, Corley Moor, Astley and Corley Services.

 How you can help:

o Always lock your vehicle and remove valuables.

o Report anything unusual or suspicious.

o Always lock doors and windows, even when you’re at home.

Consider installing:

o Approved mortice locks or multi point locking systems

o A burglar alarm system compliant with local standards

o Security lighting and CCTV/doorbell cameras

o Never leave spare keys outside (e.g., under mats or plant pots).

o Use steering locks, wheel clamps, or tracking devices for added protection for your vehicles.
