Parcel Thief arrested for Burglary back in January update

Good Evening Ealing Common Residents, 

A quick update regarding the parcel Thief caught by the team in January - The Suspect failed to appear at court for the case and a warrant was issued for their arrest. The team immediately located the Suspect and ensured they were put before the court the next day. 

Final scores on the doors - Suspect was found guilty of the offence and received fines totalling £250.00 and was ordered to pay compensation. They have received a criminal conviction and the team will be issuing a Community Protection warning under the anti-social behaviour Act to deter them from reoffending on our ward.

Perseverance has paid off and a personal thanks to the residents who gave us the intel and evidence to secure this conviction at court. Please continue to send us intel and concerns, this goes a long way to helping us bring these offenders to justice. Any suspicious circumstances no matter how small, let us know and we will follow up asap. 

Our next focus is around another set of parcel Thefts elsewhere on the ward and a new emerging drug hotspot we will be targeting next week. Updates to follow.
