Darker nights security / crime alert

Good evening residents of the Alexandra ward 

I hope your weekend is going well for you despite the poor weather, but we still need to be looking out for insecurities for you and your neighbours where you live , which unfortunately bring me to give you some bad news that has occurred in the last week in the Manor road area of Oldham.

2 crimes were recorded in this location where a garage door was tampered with , nothing was stolen and a van was broken into over night and the owner had all his work tools stolen . No persons were seen at either location and there was no working CCTV in the areas .

So I ask you to take my advice and check windows ,doors and outside buildings are secure , don't leave your all important work tools in your vehicle , it wouldn't take you tool long to take them out and put them inside where they are safe until the next time you need them , also consider getting a property marking UV pen and mark your property / tools clearly with you door number and postal code , so if they are recovered the Police can identify where they live .

Lets beat the burglars between us and report any suspicious circumstances to the Police so we can keep our area crime free.
