Good Evening Resident
Chelmsley Team Newsletter, 21st Feb 2026
Half Term has passed in a flash, a damp soggy flash at that. I would like to say that the rain has kept the youths causing Anti-Social Behaviour off our streets but alas this is not the case. The team have needed to spend a lot of time patrolling the Town Centre and Bus Interchange this week. We have had cause to speak to groups of youths and have even been required to take young people home to be educated in the presence of their parents.
Let me remind everyone about the conditions of the Public Space Protection Order that is in place for the Bus Interchange. We want everyone to feel safe when travelling to, from or through the area. The latter condition to stop people using bikes, motor bike or quads is not an easy one for us to enforce and this is where you can help us. We are collating pictures of the bikes & riders on the Interchange and very soon we will be having Days of Action targeting off road bikes. If you know who any of these offenders are or where any bikes are being stored please contact us, this can be via a response to this message, an email into our team chelmsleywood@westmidlands.police.uk a phone call to 101 or anonymously via crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
You can also have your say about ASB in our area by taking part in our Action on ASB survey, I will attach the file below
Crime Updates We have had multiple reports from West Midlands Travel regarding youths throwing stones at the buses on Moorend Ave, Chelmsley Circle & Yorkminster Drive.
Just a reminder, as there is confusion around our Neighbourhood Policing areas, this message will go out to a wide area as the WMNow and WMP Policing areas are not aligned yet, but I only report on the Chelmsley Wood Crimes. Some of the Marston Green areas now fall under CW, from Greenlands Road to MG park, and Cambridge Drive & roads off now come under Fordbridge. A section of what was CW, Clopton Cresent & Forth Drive areas, are now also under Fordbridge. I know that this means that Marston Green residents receive 3 Newsletters but please bear with us for now as we are hoping it will be sorted later this year. I like to bold the road names so you can easily pick out the roads near you.
You can also attend ANY of the meetings/Cuppa with a Coppa engagements put on by ANY of the Neighbourhood Police Teams, pick one to suit you, date/time/place, we are all here to help.
Dates for your diary Cuppa with a Coppa, Tuesday 10th March 18:00x19:30hrs at Three Trees Community Centre Hedingham Grove B37 7TP Three Trees Spring Fayre, Saturday 28th March 14:00x16:00hrs, address as above. I will have a Crime Prevention stand along with CW Streetwatch.
Until next time Stay safe & well PCSO Vicki Chelmsley Wood Team
