Good News from Your Local Policing Team โ Summary: This week officers from the Penn and Merry Hill neighbourhood team visited Evoke Coffee Shop and Bakers Brew Coffee Shop in Merry Hill. We spent time speaking with staff and customers, offering crime prevention advice and reassurance, as well as discussing any concerns people had about the local area. Why It Matters: These visits help us stay connected with the community and make sure local businesses feel supported. You said you wanted to see more officers out and about โ You said, we did ๐ฎโโ๏ธโ Weโll continue carrying out regular patrols and business visits across the ward.
We also visited 1st Finchfield Scout Group at Kingsclere Walk ๐๐ฎโโ๏ธ We enjoyed showing the Beavers the police uniform and police cars โ lots of smiles and great questions! ๐ Thanks for having us.

Police Response: Enquiries are ongoing and patrols in the area have been increased. Type of Crime: Shop Theft

Type of Crime: Theft from Motor Vehicle Date: Overnight 18/02/2026 โ 19/02/2026 Location: Leasowes Drive Summary: A vehicle window was smashed and items including a laptop were stolen from inside. Police Response: Officers are carrying out enquiries and reminding residents about vehicle security.
