VAWG Patrols - more information

Dear Lea Bridge residents,

Some residents have asked for more information about the VAWG patrols we run each month. Our next patrol will take place on Saturday 28th February at 14:00hrs, meeting at Stanley Road Car Park E10.

These patrols give residents the opportunity to join us for a walk around the ward, focusing on hotspot areas. During the patrol we share leaflets and information about where people can get help and support regarding domestic abuse, sexual violence, and exploitation. The information also includes contact details for organisations that can support anyone experiencing these issues, or those supporting someone else.

It’s also a chance to see how we work with the community to raise awareness of violence against women and girls, ask questions, and have a chat with the team.
