Iranian Embassy Demonstrations

Dear Residents,

I am the Ward Sergeant for Knightsbridge and Belgravia Ward. I wanted to thank you and reassure you that all the concerns regarding the protests that you have raised with me, whether directly or via Councillor Rachael Robathan have been recorded and escalated to Silver and Gold. 

The protests are being policed by our Public Order Command and as such decisions around the protests are made by Silver and Gold. The decision as to whether to impose conditions are based on a balanced assessment of the right to protest with the rights of the residents. These decisions are assessed on a daily basis. 

As the local Sergeant I am collating concerns/feedback from the local community and escalating these concerns to Silver and Gold. I am not part of the decision-making process. My role is to make sure that your concerns are heard.
