Good morning,
Several reports have been made to Police regarding a Bogus Official operating in the Rochdale area. There have been incidents reported in the Belfield and Milnrow areas regarding a bogus official - particularly targeting elderly and vulnerable people - requesting money to carry out work on addresses and failing to return to complete the agreed work. He has previously claimed to work for the Council.
I am sending this email out as this person is operating in the Pennines area, alongside several other areas of Rochdale.
Please review the attached leaflet which has been provided by trading standards regarding advice in what to do if someone like this attends your home address.
