🌦️ Busy Few Days on the Beat! 🌦️
From sunshine to sideways rain… we’ve had the full Derbyshire weather sampler recently! Over the last few days we’ve been out and about on foot: 👋 Catching up with residents at Newton Methodist Church as part of our regular community drop-ins.
🚶♂️ Foot patrols across Tibshelf, Newton, Blackwell and Westhouses — thank you to everyone who stopped for a chat (and for the occasional weather sympathy!).
🚓 Hotspot patrols continue, focusing on:
• Speeding vehicles
• Local ASB and issues around Hardwick Hall
• Nuisance bikes on the 5 Pits Trails Your conversations really do help us tackle what matters most to you.
This weekend is looking wet, windy and generally “character‑building”… but make the best of it with family, friends, and a good brew if all else fails! ☔️☕
