Woman located by officers after a concern was raised for her safety.

You may have seen a number of police units in the area yesterday afternoon after we received a report of a female going up a driveway of a property in the area of the Rhydd and making disturbing comments.

This raised a concern for her safety and officers from Malvern ‘B’ shift and Malvern safer neighbourhood team carried out a search of the area.  

The woman was located down a country lane a couple of miles from the original sighting of her. After engaging with the distressed woman, it was clear that she was unwell and officers took her to a place of safety for her to be spoken to by mental health specialists. 

Thank you to the members of the public who reported the incident to Police. As a result of your actions, the woman was taken to the relevant professionals to help her and offer her the support she needed.
