Appeal for Information

Dear Resident,

At about 3.30pm on Wednesday, February 18, two people were stabbed at Briar Hill Skate Park. Sadly, a man in his 20s died at the scene and a teenage boy remains in hospital with serious injuries.

A murder investigation is underway and we are urging anyone who has CCTV or doorbell footage in the local area to please check it to see whether it has captured any information which could assist us.

There will be an increased police presence in the area over the coming days, while our investigation into what happened and why continues.

We will be conducting house-to-house enquiries, as well as high-visibility patrols and I ask anyone who has any concerns to speak to an officer.
