Theft From Vehicle - Trenance Drive, Shipley BD18

Dear Resident,

Sometime between 1.30am and 7am on 19/02/2026, a Renault Captur was broken into at an address on Trenance Drive, Shipley. Unfortunately the victim had forgotten to lock the car, the suspect/s entered and made off with the contents of the victim's purse . This included bank cards and a driving licence. The suspect/s then attempted to make numerous transactions at a supermarket and via online shopping. The victim received a banking notification and was able to cancel the cards. 

Please remember to check that you have locked your car and removed any valuables from it, not just left them out of sight.
