Staffordshire Police received a report of a suspicious incident that occurred in the early hours of Thursday 19th February 2026 between 01:30am and 01:45am in Devon Road, Rumer Hill, Cannock.
Two males were seen in the rear gardens of properties and were observed interfering with a doorbell camera at one address.
Residents in Devon Road and the surrounding area are advised to remain vigilant and to review any CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage covering the times stated above.

- Ensure all doors and windows are locked before going to bed. - Secure side gates and check fencing is in good condition. - Install or activate motion-sensor lighting where possible. - Regularly check that CCTV and doorbell cameras are functioning correctly and are securely fitted. - Remove or secure ladders and tools from gardens.
Vehicle Security:
