Commercial area day of action

Good evening,

Officers from the commercial area have conducted a plain clothes operation targeting ASB, shoplifting, and drug offences by conducting a plain clothes operation in the area. 

So far three arrests have been made, one for shoplifting on Cross Street. An abusive male also on Cross Street who has also been charged with drunk and disorderly, and also a male was arrested for failing to appear to court for the following offences; theft, assault emergency worker, and assault. He will be in court tomorrow morning for this hearing.
