Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Nothing to report Burglary Other Nothing to Report Theft of motor vehicle Nothing to Report Theft from motor vehicle At 3.30pm on Monday 16 February in Poplar Avenue, Kirkby in Ashfield, two parcels were stolen from a blue Amazon Prime Ford Transit van while the driver was making a delivery. The thief was a white male, 5.09”/ 5-10”, slim build, late 30’s to early 40’s, wearing a black beanie hat, black waterproof jacket and black joggers. Theft Nothing to Report Criminal Damage Between 5.20pm and 6.45pm on Tuesday 17 February in Low Moor Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, a letter box in a house door was damaged when items were forced through it. On the previous day threats were made by a group of five males on bikes saying they would ram their bikes into the door. The owner thinks this could be related to that. Before 4.19pm on Wednesday 18 February in Ashwood Avenue, Kirkby in Ashfield, the passenger side wing mirror of a red Honda Jazz car was left hanging off by just a wire. ASB At 9.03am on Thursday 12 February in Copeland Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, a report of verbal abuse and intimidating behaviour from a group of 14/15 year old males from the Ashfield School towards the caller and his children, as they walk home from school. This has happened on many days. At 12.53pm on Saturday 14 February in Beacon Drive, Kirkby in Ashfield, a report of four off road bikes with no number plates racing on and around the Drive and on fields off Coxmoor Road. None of the riders are wearing helmets. Three of the bikes are a dark colour the fourth one yellow. This is a recurring problem. At 8.16pm on Sunday 15 February in Westdale Road, Jacksdale, two males and a female, dressed in black with balaclavas on, were banging on the callers door and windows shouting insults. This has happened between 6.00pm and 8.00pm on Saturdays and Sundays for the past few weeks. At 6.59pm on Tuesday 17 February at Dominos Pizza, Station Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, a group of 12/ 15 year olds, five males and three females, shouting and screaming and throwing things on the floor. At 7.37pm on Wednesday 18 February at Dominos Pizza, Station Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, a group of 12/15 year olds, six male and two female, were outside banging on the door and windows and refusing to leave.
