Local Priorities Burglary Update |
I wanted to provide you with an update regarding burglary, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.
The team have just started our set of shifts after a couple of rest days. Please be aware that over the last couple of days a group of youths on high speed electric bikes all dressed in dark clothing have been on our ward in VINCENT AVENUE and FAIRWAY. They have also been in the BELMONT area neighbouring our ward. They have been attempting to gain access to garages/sheds and have been seen trying car doors. This has been in the early hours of the morning. Please call police on 999 if you happen to see anything happening like this. Please be vigilant and ensure all out buildings and vehicles are locked and secure. While we will continue to pursue burglars in the area, there are steps you can do to help keep your property safe. Make sure that you:
