Theft from motor vehicle- Cunliffe Terrace

Dear Resident

You are receiving this as you live in the vicinity of a theft from motor vehicle that occurred on Cunliffe Terrace 

VICTIM HAS PARKED VEHICLE UP AT THE END OF A BUSY ROAD SECURE, THE VICTIM HAS HEARD A CAR ALARM GOING OFF BUT NOT TAKEN MUCH NOTICE. 
A SHORT TIME LATER THE VICTIM HAS GOT UP TO CHECK WHOS CAR ALARM WAS GOING OFF TO REALISE IT WAS HIS VEHICLE. 
THE VICTIM HAS THEN NOTICED THAT THE REAR PASSENGER WINDOW OF HIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN SMASHED AND ENTRY GAINED, THE DASHBOARD/ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM HAS BEEN STOLEN CAUSING EXTENSIVE INTERNAL DAMAGE MAKING GOOD ESCAPE UNSEEN

If you have any information in relation to the above please contact the Police on 101 or speak to a local PCSO. Please also check your CCTV or Doorbell camera if you have one during the crime timings to see if there are any activations. 

This is also a good time to check your own security, many offences are preventable with small improvements to your vehicles security.
