Free Personal Safety Awareness Workshop.

Dear Resident,

We are pleased to invite you to a free Personal Safety Awareness Workshop taking place in Uxbridge next month. This session is designed to help build confidence, increase awareness, and provide practical tools to help keep you safe in everyday situations.

Date: Wednesday 11th March 2026

Time: 19:45 – 21:00

Venue: Uxbridge High School Gym, The Greenway, Uxbridge, UB8 2PR

About the Session:

This workshop includes a basic self‑defence class delivered by UMAA (qualified non‑police instructors). Local police officers will also be available after the class to speak with attendees, answer questions, address concerns about local safety, and provide personalised crime prevention advice.

All attendees will also receive a free goody bag containing personal safety items (such as a torch and purse bells) along with helpful crime prevention materials.

Who Can Attend?

This event is open to all, ages 12+.
