Hello and welcome to this week’s policing update for Blakenhall!

This week…

Whilst on patrol in the Parkfields area, PCSO's located a stolen and stripped vehicle and swiftly arranged recovery.

PCSO's have been completing both foot and vehicle patrols at various times within Blakenhall, speaking to residents and businesses - if you see us on foot, please stop and say hello!

We are continuing to address parking concerns within the Goldthorn estate and will continue this next week.

And finally, PCSO's Travis and Cooper-Haime have held a Cuppa With a Copper at Bob Jones Community Hub which had a busy turnout. We spoke with Residents, Councillors and MP Warinder Juss regarding concerns and the locality. We thank everyone who attended and will be announcing our next engagement shortly.

🚓 Tips for vehicle safety 🚓

🚗 Ensure your vehicle is securely locked with a steering lock
🚗 If you have keyless entry vehicle consider using a Faraday pouch – this is a pouch that blocks the signal of the keys to the vehicle.
🚗 Ensure your driveway is well-lit and CCTV is in use if possible
🚗 Remove any items from display or inside the vehicle such as Jewellery, Sat-navs, electronics and tools
🚗 Consider a tracker or Immobiliser
