Day of Action -

On Tuesday 17th February 2026, a dedicated day of action which focused on enhancing the safety of public spaces, promoting preventative measures, and raising awareness regarding violence against women and girls. Officers engaged directly with the community to understand local concerns and encourage individuals to report instances where they feel at risk of violence or abuse. These engagements are vital as they strengthen the relationship between the MPS and the public, reinforcing that community engagement remains a cornerstone of effective policing.

The operation proved successful, resulting in a total of 4 arrests.
