Vehicle crime in Ilkley since the 1st February

These message are not intended to scare anyone but when local residents are aware of ongoing issues they are more likely to make that early call that gives us the best chance of catching people and recovering property.

Since the 1st February there have been 3 thefts of vehicle and 3 vehicle inteferences

School minivan taken.  Recovered at Riddlesdon

13260085869  Cheltnam Avenue   11/12th

Range Rover  NU61AJY stolen.  Amongst the property taken was  a Barbour fleece jacket and a Leica laser measure

Land Rover Discovery stolen recovered on Queens Rd Ilkley

As with the burglaries we are carrying out extra patrols.  Residents can help by reporting anything suspicious straight away.  If you are the owner of a Land Rover, Jaguar or Toyota HiLux or Nissan Navara please consider fitting extra security such as a Krook Lock or pedal lock there are issues across the whole region with this type of vehicle crime
