Burglary Advice |
||
|
Burglary isn’t just someone sneaking into a house wearing a stripy jumper and carrying a big sack like in the cartoons. It’s when someone enters a home, shed, garage, or business without permission and intends to steal or cause damage. Even if the door was unlocked, if they’re inside with the wrong intentions, it’s still burglary.
Think of it this way:
Most burglaries happen because offenders look for quick chances. An open window. A door left on the latch. Valuables visible from the street. Small things that make a big difference. We’re asking everyone to keep an eye out, look after your neighbours, and if you spot something that feels off, someone hanging around a bit too long, trying doors, or acting strangely let us know. You won’t be bothering us. That’s what we’re here for.
Your information, even the tiny bits you think don’t matter, can help us protect the area and catch the people who cause trouble for the community.
We’re always happy to help.
