Burglary – Area of Shackerstone Lane, Newton Burgoland

We are appealing for information following a burglary in the area of Shackerstone Lane, Newton Burgoland, which occurred between 09:40hrs and 12:10hrs on Monday 16 February 2026.

During this period, unknown offender(s) gained entry to a residential property and carried out a search inside. Enquiries are ongoing, and we are asking for anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious to come forward.

We are particularly interested in:

Any CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage covering this timeframe.

Sightings of unknown vehicles or persons acting suspiciously in or around Shackerstone Lane.

Any other information that may assist the investigation.

Do not leave tools or items outside that could assist entry.

Consider improving lighting around entry points.

Report suspicious behaviour promptly.

Look out for neighbours, especially those who are vulnerable.
