Message to Parents and Guardians...

Good evening everyone,

We’re asking parents and guardians in the local Thornton-Cleveleys area to please have a conversation with your children about where they are spending their evenings, who they are with, and what they are doing.

We’ve had some recent incidents in the local area, and we’re keen to ensure that young people are safe, making positive choices, and not becoming involved in behaviour that could put themselves or others at risk.

We would also ask parents to check clothing and belongings over the past few days. If you have noticed any anti-vandal paint on your child’s clothing, please address this with them and make us aware as they may have been involved in a recent criminal damage in the Thornton area. 

We are not looking to blame, but to work together as a community to prevent further issues and keep everyone safe.
