Foot patrol (16/02/2026)

The start of half-term week saw Rick and Lee out covering the ward's open spaces, with parks attracting more families, as well as coverage around all of the Parkside beat (5.91 miles).

Hooks Hall Drive began proceedings, followed by the likes of Grove and Home Gardens (10.51am), Fir Tree Walk (10.56am, p), Tony Rawson Way and Eastbrook Close (11.10am). Greenwood Avenue, Woodshire Road (11.24am) and Luke Allsopp Square were also visited.

It was then into Central Park (p) to check in with parents before passing through Fels Field.

More than a mile of the Eastbrookend Country Park (12.04pm, p) was also patrolled, catching up with Ranger, Carol, as well as its two and four-legged visitors.
