Trying Car Door Handles: Lawnside/Nortonwood Area, NAILSWORTH

We had two calls regarding the following at the weekend: 

On Friday 13th February between 0245am and 0315am we had reports of an individual trying car door handles in Beechwood Close and in the Lawnside area in NAILSWORTH. On both occasions the individual was unsuccessful at gaining entry to a vehicle.  On the CCTV footage the individual is a male with dark hair wearing a grey jacket with a phone in his hand.

Please can we remind people to please report these incidents. Although we are on social media, we don’t see everything, and we can only deal with things we know about. We need an auditable trail and these reports also show emerging trend /patterns in criminality, the data of which allows for a proper problem solving approach to be implemented. Please continue to be vigilant, and report any suspicious activity. We would always rather have a call with good intent than no call at all.
