Earls Court search warrant

Good afternoon Courtfield,

Today, your local ward officers PC Smith and PC Hassan assisted the Earl's Court team in executing a search warrant in Earl's Court under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. We have been working hard to investigate drug activity from a specific address, and we were authorised to execute this warrant by the Magistrate Court.

Officers gained entry to the property at 06:00 this morning which led to one person being arrested. The address has now been given a 48 hour closure order, authorised by a Superintendent. This means that only the occupant can enter the address for 48 hours, and any others who are found inside the property are liable for arrest. This is also a notice to serve to the occupant to inform them that officers intend to apply for a closure order to the Magistrates Court to close the address for a further three month period.
