Residents are being advised to remain vigilant following a recent rise in lock snap burglaries across the Tonge Moor area. Offenders have been targeting properties with older or vulnerable door locks, often gaining entry quickly and quietly.  These incidents have mainly occurred during the evening and overnight, and in most cases, access was gained through the rear doors.
