Good Practice - Op Makesafe - Premier Inn, Watford

We would like to recognise and thank a local hotel, Premier Inn, Watford for their excellent response and cooperation in relation to Op Makesafe. A young girl in School uniform who Police had no prior involvement with was reported to have attended the hotel with an older male. Due to concerns around Child Sexual Exploitation, hotel staff contacted the Police with their concerns. 

Their proactive engagement, professionalism, and willingness to work closely with Police demonstrates best practice in safeguarding and highlights the vital role hotels play in helping to protect vulnerable people. This positive example shows how effective communication, staff awareness, and timely information sharing can make a real difference. Thank you to all accommodation providers who continue to support Op Makesafe and contribute to keeping our communities safe.
